1st Week: Look for letter regarding CDTA Tap Exams
October 11: Thanksgiving …classes cancelled
October 31: Halloween…falls on Sunday…have fun!
November 2010 (Costume Month)
November 1 to 5th: Parent’s watching week (learn about Costume and festival
November 11: Remembrance Day Holiday…regular classes cancelled
- This is the month we will be looking for 1st Costume Moms
- Keep look out for costume request forms
- 1st Costume Moms collect costume money from Parents and submit to Alison by Nov 22nd
- (approx. $50 per costume for younger levels…may be more depending on costume)
All orders for costumes must be into Alison by Nov22nd
Dance Festival Fees
Keep look out for registration forms to collect fees for dance festivals
(All festival fees must be in by Nov 30)
The Following groups will participate in Festival
- Ballet – Grade I and up
- Tap – primary exam year and up
- Jazz – Jr. Jazz and up
- Hip Hop 2nd year and up
- Lyrical- all

January 3: First day of classes
Note: RAD Ballet Exam Entry form letters go out after Christmas holidays
(Ballet exams take place between March 9th and April 21st)

March 7-13: Spring Break (no classes)
March 19-20: Class photos, watch for schedule
Ballet exams will happen between March 9th and April 21th
Note: March 31st to April 3rd is ‘Showcase’ Dance Festival
April 2011
April 22: Good Friday (classes cancelled Good Friday and the following week for Easter break)
April 15 - 18: Lloydminster Competition
May 2011
May 2: First day back after Easter break
May 9-10: (tentative) Dress Rehearsal Vic Juba Community Theatre
May 14-15: Annual ALSD Recital
May 16: Have a Great Summer!
